……at Mountain Meadows!
The sky is an unending show out here – this was one of the “good” mushroom clouds that day.
We finally got our new sign up – so now we know where we live !!
Frances the Fabulous Ferret came to us thru a rather circuitous route. She was dumped in a church lot, and found on a Sunday, thin and weak, and made her way to the clinic where the daughter works. She brought her home to foster her, and Frances never left!
The electric company helicopter dangling spinning blades to cut tree branches growing too close to power lines. That was a very impressive pilot – it was a very windy day! Never a dull moment around here!
The sight that has almost made me not eat chicken any more!
Windowsill vignette of gerbera daisy and sweet annie with some of my favorite things!
Down at the fishin’ hole! The front yard has been mowed and baled!!!!
One of many spiders living amongst the boxes in the garage- look first before you grab!!
The female cowbird stopping by for her breakfast -she is quite shrill if the breakfast bar is empty!
The “moocher” gang – a formidable bunch!
All is well at Mountain Meadows tonite!

Love the pictures, esp. the truck of chickens (and staring at it will likely get me off eating it for awhile for sure) and the fishing hole but the DOGS! I love those dogs!!!!!

What a nice array of photos from Mountain Meadows, love them all except the chickens. That is too sad a sight to behold.

Everyone feels the same about the chickens- see a previous blog to see inside a chicken house.
Yes, we LOVE those dogs also!!! We are trying to blend 2 “packs” – we are good, but there are some days we REALLY need the Dog Whisperer!!!

Your move to the country is now “official” = what a great sign! Fun seeing your array of photos. I didn’t realize you had that much fur at your house LOL…..
I saw a movie entitled “meat” 30+ years ago and that made me a vegetarian for many many years. It was all about the people standing in tall boots in a trough as the cow carcasses swung by, they slit their throats….well, I guess I should stop there. I would definitely switch to organic chicken, happy free running hens 🙂
Have a happy 4th, we’re headed for the city to see THE fireworks, first time in a long long time, so long we can’t quite remember *ggg* (that’s what the German girls type for teehee, I Love it)!
